NCSQ Square Full Cone Nozzles

NCSQ Square Full Cone Nozzles

Whirl nozzles generate a whirling motion of the liquid. Axial whirl nozzles produce the swirling motion with an internal vane or disc. Tangential whirl nozzles feature a slight angle on inlet passageway into the cavity of the nozzle. The swirling effect within the body cavity creates the whirling motion.

  • The Axial Whirl full cone nozzle style is ideal for even distribution over a packed bed.
  • The Axial Whirl full cone nozzles are used for rain simulation and foam control applications.
  • Spillback nozzles provide a 10:1 turndown ratio with minimal change in drop size.

Common Materials: Polypropylene, PTFE, PVC

      • Inlet inline with outlet.
  • Tangential
    • Full Cone
      • Even distribution of the droplets.
      • Slight angle on inlet passageway into the cavity of the nozzle to create the swirling effect within the body cavity, thus resulting in the creation of the spray pattern.
      • Liquid inlet 90 degrees from liquid outlet.
      • Fins on one side of the body cavity to disrupt the swirling action to help direct droplets to the center of the spray pattern.
    • Hollow Cone
      • Slight angle on inlet passageway into the cavity of the nozzle to create the swirling effect within the body cavity thus resulting in the creation of the spray pattern.
      • Liquid inlet 90 degrees from liquid outlet.
